The Class of 2020 will be like no other class in history – The Virtual Graduation.

It was interesting to see how schools, families, and even the commencement speeches had new, and sometimes creative twists.  They were not the normal type of good luck and work had messages. They were stronger and more challenging.

“…this is your time to seize the initiative.., said President Obama in one of his commencement speeches.

So, get ready, get set, and go!

Welcome to The World of Work!

HOWEVER –

This year the World of Work is “closed” for the most part.

It’s going to be “a bit more” challenging this year – but, not impossible.

Hopefully you have sent out some on-line resumes and are starting to get some nibbles from employers.

Maybe you’ve taken an interim job or an internship. Anything is better than sitting home.

Part of surviving difficult times is just that – “surviving difficult times!”

If you’ve done any reading about “EQ” – Emotional Intelligence, the bottom line of your EQ score is how you “cope.”

How you deal with life when it throws you curve balls.

This is more than a “curve ball,” and it is affecting everybody.

Get ready to take the challenge.

How have you coped with the idea that your graduation, and future seem to be much different than you had planned?

How Emotionally Intelligent Are You?  14 signs you have high EQ.
